Day 4 [21 Day Fix]

Today was the first day since Monday that I’ve worked out. I had a session with my personal trainer this morning, whom I see twice a week. She pushes me and makes me sweat. I hate when she makes me do burpees and squat jumps, but I adore her, her approach at fitness, and the way I feel after our sessions.

I woke up hungry so I grabbed a banana (2 💜) for my car ride to my workout.

I felt like I didn’t have a ton of energy, but got through it 💪💪


On a side note, anyone else having crazy weather?!

This was only hours apart, people! And we’re expected to have 12-18″ by tomorrow night. Insane!

Aaaannnyway… When I got home, I had some hard boiled eggs because I was ravenous.

Then I had another one for a total of 3 eggs for 1.5 ❤️


I was saving my carbs for this meal (my lunch), that will become one of your favorites too if you give it a chance.

The lovely Pioneer Woman’s Black Bean Burgers.

I revised them a little to be compliant with this diet.

Seriously- try these!

Recipe:

⁃ 1 can of beans, drained (not rinsed)

⁃ 1/2 cup seasoned whole wheat breadcrumbs

⁃ 1/8 onion minced or grated

⁃ 1 large egg white

⁃ salt, pepper, chili powder to taste

⁃ hot sauce to taste

Mash beans first with fork (keep some whole beans in there). Add in all other ingredients, mix together and shape into 3 patties.

Pan fry in a couple tsps. of olive oil for about 4 min on each side, med-high heat. Add cheese if desired, heat until melted.

Total for 21 Day Fix:

3 💛 1 💚 1 💙

This was the most satisfying meal I’ve had in days. And I didn’t have hunger pangs at all.

In fact, it held me over for so long I had a super light dinner and felt great.

Tuna salad

(1 can tuna in water, 1/3 cup Greek yogurt, salt pepper and lemon juice)

On greens with a side of baby carrots 🙂 2 tangerines for dessert for a total of:

3 💚 1.5 ❤️ 1 💜


End note!

Today was a GOOD DAY 😊

After talking to my trainer today, I know I can do this. I just have to be smarter with what I fill my containers with. If I have a choice between 8 wheat thins and 1/2 cup of brown rice, I should choose the latter to feel fuller longer.
