Day 5 [21 Day Fix]

Hi new followers! ๐Ÿ˜€

So, I didn’t wake up hungry…

But we did wake up to almost 2 feet of snow ๐Ÿ˜–

โ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธโ„๏ธ

I don’t work a “regular” job during the week, but I’ve always looked forward to the weekend – ever since I was a kid in school.

So I started my morning with something different than eggs. I made a healthy “Apple pie” breakfast.

I diced up a honey crisp apple, sprinkled cinnamon and stevia on it and popped it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds.

Then I put the apples on top of nonfat Greek yogurt. It was just what I needed this morning.

I think part of the reason I love weekends so much is people are so much more relaxed and happier. And nicer!

My boyfriend and I went to Starbucks after we got plowed out of our driveway (finally) and I decided that I deserved a treat. ๐Ÿ’ƒ So instead of wasting it on a teaspoon of chocolate chips again, I got a delicious, but healthier drink.

I usually drink my coffee black, so this was definitely a treat for me. If you like cinnamon and you like almond milk, give this drink a try!

Grande Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato with stevia & cinnamon -or- sugar free syrup

Recording Studio day!

Today, my boyfriend (who happens to be my guitarist as well) and I had a session in the recording studio. I knew I wouldn’t be home for lunch, so I packed one along with a liter of lemon sparkling water. ๐Ÿ˜Š

It doesn’t look super pretty, but it was super delicious. And Incase you haven’t noticed yet, I LOVE “buffalo” flavored anything. The hot sauce & blue cheese combo is my jam.

So I made buffalo chicken and put it on some mixed greens.

I put this on my post the other day- but here it is again ๐Ÿ˜Š

To make:

  • 1 red container rotisserie chicken (white meat)
  • 1/2 blue container crumbly blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • As much Frank’s hot sauce as ya want!

Mix it all together and put it in a whole wheat wrap, bun, lettuce wrap, on salad, or have it with crackers! So good I could eat it every day.

2 ๐Ÿ’š 1.5 โค๏ธ 0.5 ๐Ÿ’™


By the time we got out of the studio, we were both hungry and since it was almost 7:00, we decided to grab something to eat from Wegmans and see a movie.

Luckily they have a lot of healthy choices, so I chose this awesome Asian inspired shrimp “power meal”.

Full of veggies, some brown rice, shrimp and peanuts! For a total:

1 ๐Ÿ’š 1 โค๏ธ 1 ๐Ÿ’› 1 ๐Ÿงก 4 tsps

This was super filling, but I did get quite a stomach ache after. Not sure if it was because it wasn’t “homemade” like the rest of my meals this week or if something just didn’t agree with me.

So! After a visit to the bathroom and me texting my boyfriend from the stall to just go on without me… (so dramatic), I felt better and got to watch the movie after all ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰


I just got home from the movie am a bit hungry, so I’m going to put some deli turkey in a lettuce wrap with a side of grapes and call it a day!
