I literally had the most bizarre night last night. It all happened after I posted.
So, as I continue this blog, I’m definitely sharing a lot with you guys. And happily! But this is something not a lot of people know about me. Here’s another piece of my life that you could probably give a hoot about.
I have a severe phobia of vomit. Severe. Like, the last time I threw up, I think I was 8 years old. I will do anything and everything to make sure I don’t get physically sick.
Cue last night…
A few friends came over to our house after Matt and I got home and had dinner (around 11pm). Our group of friends will have some wine or a drink here and there, but never get full out drunk and belligerent.
Long story already long… there were only 2 people drinking last night.
Matt and I have 2 bathrooms in our house.
Both bathrooms were occupied by two friends throwing up.
I almost died.
All I could think was that it was some sick and cruel joke. My anxiety level was through the roof.
All of my Lysol wipes and spray are now gone.
So, I went to bed after all the chaos, around 5am and woke up at 1pm. Here was my Sunday!
Scrambled eggs with spinach, onions and a little mozzarella. With a side of clementines. 😊

It was a balmy 43 degrees today, so Matt and I decided to go for a little walk. We have this adorable reservoir in the city that’s perfect for walking. So we went and had delicious nonfat cappuccinos at one of our favorite coffee shops, then walked for a bit at the reservoir.
It was a nice day 😊
We had plans to hang out with my parents tonight at their house. They’re so fun. We laugh harder than ever when we all hang out.
When we get together, we usually just have a bunch of appetizers and picky food. So, tonight we decided on an Asian inspired menu!
Keeping my diet in mind, Matt and I picked up some fresh veggie and shrimp spring rolls from our favorite Chinese restaurant.
Also keeping my diet in mind (which is super sweet), my mom made amazing chicken lettuce wraps and ahi tuna tartare on baked wonton crisps.
All super fresh, healthy and tasty ingredients. Lots of protein and low in carbs. 🤗
I had 2 spring rolls with a little peanut sauce (probably not totally compliant, but I counted it as an orange (dressings and nuts) container), 3 chicken lettuce wraps, and a good amount of tuna tartar with about 10 of the crisps. I did my best to be conscious of my containers and how much I could eat.
I made an educated estimate of it being-
3💚 3❤️ 3💛 1🧡 4 tsps.
Definitely a saltier meal than I’ve been used to (mostly because of the soy sauce), but I had my fair share of water tonight to try and balance that out a bit.
After dinner, we pulled out the Wii (which feels ancient nowadays, but it’s even more fun than I remember) and played a bunch of games, including bowling. 100 pin bowling to be exact. It’s ridiculous! I wish bowling alleys really had this.
It was a really enjoyable, funny night. ♥️
