Guys! Only 5 days left! 🙌
I’m much less miserable today, but I did ask Matt this morning if it’s worth it. Is this strict of dieting worth being “miserable”?
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, all.
I guess that’s why it’s only 21 days. Nobody would be able to keep this up as a lifestyle. It’s definitely doing it’s job, though!
I’m miserable because
- I can’t eat more than 1/4 cup of cheese…
- I can’t have wine whenever I feel like it…
- I just want a damn cookie (preferably peanut butter)!
All food related stuff.
I’m happy because
- My heartburn has dramatically decreased
- My clothes fit and feel better
- My IBS has only acted up twice in 16 days. It’s usually more like 6 or 7 times in that number of days.
I’ll definitely post more on my pros and cons on Day 21. 😊
So about my day…
After not eating dinner last night, I woke up ridiculously hungry.
I wanted to make something fast, but filling. So I cooked up some organic lean ground beef and cooked a spaghetti squash.
I’ve been making my own tomato sauce lately, but since I was so hungry, I went with something I already in my pantry.
This sauce is super low in sugar and has good flavor. I spruced it up with some crushed red pepper and onion powder, but it didn’t necessarily need it.
I threw the sauce it in a skillet with 2 servings (measured) of beef and spaghetti squash:
Then sprinkled some Parmesan on it. This made 2 servings.
For one serving:
3💚 1❤️ 1💜 1 tsp. And so little cheese I’m not counting it. 🤷🏻♀️
*on a side note… I had one slice of this amazing “swirl” French toast bread. With a little dollop of butter.
Why was this so good? Try this! One little piece did the trick. And for only 1💛
We had a gig tonight again, so we picked up our Starbucks coffee to drink (instead of wine), and it tasted heavenly.
Lunch held me over, but I was definitely ready to eat by 9pm when we got home.
We stopped at the grocery store on our way home… I planned on making salmon, but really didn’t feel like cooking. So, I grabbed some essentials for one of my favorites.
Tops is closer to our house than Wegmans, so we stopped there, but it’s also great because they sell rotisserie chicken already cut up! Thanks, Tops!
Bring on the bleu.
Since I already had a piece of bread this morning, I made one wrap in a low carb whole wheat tortilla, and another in a lettuce leaf.

It’s my favorite meal for a reason! It’s freakin good! And low in calories.
After dinner, I was most certainly satisfied. I don’t remember the last time I could say I was “full” in the last 16 days, but definitely satisfied.
So I finished the night off with one clementine and one honey graham cracker.
Super exciting, I know.

Overall a good day. 😊 maybe just Days 14 and 15 were my “breaking point”. I wonder if that’ll be a trend in the coming months!
