Rubbing Elbows with the Rich & Famous – Days 16 & 17 [Weight Watchers]

I’m not going to lie… I personally feel that this diet is really hard to follow when you’re not able to meal prep and plan.

Not being home has been hard on this one, but I’ve been doing my best to “guesstimate” my points, and I’ve actually been within them (only because I walk 10+ miles a day!).

Hiking and loving every minute of the sunshine! ☀️


Yesterday for Valentine’s Day, we had a pretty busy day (meetings and such), but we of COURSE made time to celebrate each other 😊

We stopped right on Hollywood Blvd after our meetings (around dinner time) in the same “mall” type area as the Dolby Theater. We went to California Pizza Kitchen… it was actually perfect for our evening.

Drumroll is necessary…

A freaking butter cake. With Hagen daaz. This might’ve been the most amazing cake I’ve ever eaten.

We shared it- it was 33 points for half! Hahaha! Let me remind you, my daily allowance is 23! But again, my workouts have been adding a lot of points.

It was a wonderful Valentine’s Day. ♥️ I hope you all enjoyed yours as well!


Today was a freakin walking fest. We woke up and hiked Runyon Canyon – gorgeous day! ☀️☀️

We had a meeting with a manager at the Soho House is West Hollywood. We didn’t realize what an “elite” club it was until we got there.

It’s very secretive and you have to tell the receptionist who you’re there to have lunch with.

Then I understood why- within the first 5 minutes, I saw 2 celebrities, including Mila Kunis! That was kind of cool- I mean, we ate from the same buffet 🤷🏻‍♀️ haha!


We ate little, considering we were at a meeting.

Then we met our producer for coffee near Echo Park, exactly 5.3 miles from where our air b&b is.

We. Walked. Home.

Holy moly!

We didn’t anticipate walking the whole way. We told ourselves we’d walk as far as we could without getting an Uber… then we just ended up… home. My feet kill.


Needless to say, we were starving when we got home.

We had Tostitos scoops and salsa… and I made myself a chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese. 🥪 It’s exactly what I wanted to refuel!

Now I’m sitting my ass down having an ice cold beer. Exhausted from the day, but perfectly relaxed. 🍺

It’s been a great couple of days. Loving LA and enjoying life this week! Diet or no diet! 😊
